Once a long time ago, after a personal tragedy involving loss, someone sent me Psalm 16: 5-6. It didn't make sense at the time. Today I read the story of the drowning of two little Newfoundland boys and I want to pass these verses along to their mother.

once, a very long time ago, that was my profession of faith text. I didn't really understand why at the time, either. But I have gone back to those verses a lot since then...
