Louise Bourgeois died at the age of 98, she was an inspiration to me because her career as an artist began later in life. Her work is painfully gritty. In the obituary I read that her "sculptures...centered on the human body and its need for nurture and protection in a frightening world". In the Psalms I read how God answers me in my distress.
