June 27

Paul was a tent maker, which made me think of Abraham who lived in tents. Tents are strong symbols of shelter, rescue and recreation and they have been around for generations.  I feel secure today knowing that my God is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love.

petra, I am really enjoying your blog! what a fascinating (illuminated) lens into the times we live in. after a weekend of following G8/20 & the world cup, I am held speechless (which is pretty unusual!).
can I join you in the readings? I will try to get my hands on the year-long Bible you are reading...which one is it?

Petra,

Thank you so much for telling me about your blog last weekend! It is very inspiring! I've passed on the link to my two artist friends back in Illinois, and I'm sure they will find it inspiring as well. I will check back often : )
