One of the reasons Jezebel died in such a horrible way because of the obvious idols in her life. Paul helped the Athenians, who "spent their time doing nothing but talking about and listening to the latest ideas" figure out, that one of their no-name, beautifully, designed idols was real. Am I in denial when I think that the idols in my life are not as obvious?
